3/16/2010 Notification of Enrollment e-mailed to students for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
4/2/2010 Enrollment begins for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
5/1/2010 Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011.
6/12/2010-7/25/2010 Enrollment system is not available to returning undergraduate, Agricultural Technology, and Vet Tech students while AOP is in progress.
8/30/2010 Summer AOP students may begin to adjust their schedule.
11/12/2010 Currently enrolled undergraduate, Agricultural Technology, and Vet Tech students who have not enrolled for Spring 2011 by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
11/12/2010 Currently enrolled graduate and professional students, and teacher interns, who have not enrolled for Spring 2011 by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
11/13/2010 Initial tuition billing statements for Spring 2011 are available electronically on STUINFO (no paper bills are mailed).
12/10/2010 Initial minimum tuition & fee payment due for Spring 2011 -- $50 ($20 for amounts due of $0-$100) late fee is assessed after this date.
12/24/2010-12/27/2010 Holiday -- University closed
12/31/2010-1/3/2011 Holiday -- University closed
1/7/2011 Recess/Dismiss lists from last semester due from A/A Deans to the RO.
1/10/2011 Late enrollment fee ($100) begins for first-time Spring enrollees and returning students.
1/10/2011 Classes begin for Spring semester 2011
1/14/2011 On-line open add period ends at 8 p.m.
1/14/2011 Last day to change to or from CR/NC or Visitor -- must be done in the Registrar`s Office by 5 p.m.
1/17/2011 Martin Luther King Day -- no classes. The University is open.
2/3/2011 Deficiency Lists & Final Certification forms for non-Degree Audit programs delivered to colleges.
2/3/2011 End of tuition refund period--no refund after this date. NOTE: Special Session refund dates can be found by clicking on the course section number in the web Schedule of Courses at www.reg.msu.edu.
2/4/2011 Final Degree Listings distributed for previous semester.
2/7/2011-2/18/2011 Academic Progress Reports are available on the web for instructors, and APR information must be entered on the web by 2/18/11.
2/18/2011 Deadline for instructors to enter APR information on the web.
2/25/2011 Approximate date that Commencement invitations will be sent to GRADUATE degree candidates & information about participation (for degree candidates & families) will be available on the web at www.commencement.msu.edu.
3/2/2011 NOTE: Special Session Middle of the Term dates are calculated separately. See web Schedule of Courses at www.reg.msu.edu.
3/2/2011 MIDDLE of Semester--last day for withdrawal or dropping courses with no grade reported, $200 late enrollment fee assessed after this date for first-time enrollees, close of on-line drops for Spring--8 p.m.

3/11/2011 Approximate date that Commencement invitations will be sent to UNDERGRAD degree candidates. Information about participation (for degree candidates & families) will be on the web at www.commencement.msu.edu.
3/18/2011 Deficiency Lists for bachelor and medical degree candidates are due in the RO.
3/21/2011-4/1/2011 Academic Progress Reports are available on the web for instructors, and APR information must be entered on the web by 4/1/11.
4/1/2011 Final date to initiate withdrawal from the University.
4/1/2011 Degree candidates notified of holds.
4/1/2011 Deadline for instructors to enter APR information on the web.
4/29/2011 Classes end for Spring.
4/30/2011 On-line grading available to instructors (by 10 a.m.)
5/2/2011-5/6/2011 Final Exams for Spring
5/6/2011-5/8/2011 Commencements
5/10/2011 All grades are due by 4 p.m. Grades not reported by 4 p.m. can not be included in end-of-semester official University reporting.
