4/1/2005 Scheduled Enrollment begins for Fall 2005 and Spring 2006.
4/30/2005 Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2005 and Spring 2006.
6/11/2005-7/24/2005 Enrollment system is not available to returning undergraduate, Agric. Technology, and Vet. Technology students while AOP is in progress.
7/23/2005-7/24/2005 The Enrollment system is not available July 23-24.
8/26/2005 Summer AOP students may begin to adjust Fall and Spring enrollment schedules.
11/9/2005 Preliminary Graduate Assistantship lists due in the RO.
11/11/2005 Fall students who have not enrolled for Spring 2006 by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
11/14/2005 Initial tuition billing statements available on STUINFO (no paper bills are mailed).
12/9/2005 Initial minimum tuition & fee payment is due - $50 ($20 for amounts due of $0-$100) late fee is assessed after this date.
12/12/2005 First Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
1/6/2006 Recess/Dismiss lists from Fall semester are due in RO from A/A Deans.
1/9/2006 Late enrollment fee ($100) begins for first-time enrollees for Spring.
1/9/2006 Classes begin for Spring 2006
1/13/2006 Degree candidates for Spring and Summer should apply for graduation on the web by this date -- www.reg.msu.edu.
1/13/2006 On-line open add period ends at 8 p.m.
1/13/2006 Last day to change to or from CR/NC or Visitor -- must be done in the RO by 5 p.m.
1/13/2006 Second Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
1/16/2006 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day observed -- Classes cancelled. University is open.
2/2/2006 Deficiency Lists & Final Certification forms delivered to colleges.
2/3/2006 End of tuition refund period -- no refund after this date (1/4 of semester).
2/6/2006 Final Degree Listings distributed for Fall semester.
2/6/2006-2/17/2006 Academic Progress Reports available on the web to instructors. APR information must be submitted by 2/17/06.
2/24/2006 Approximate date that Commencement invitations will be sent to Graduate degree candidates and information about participation (for degree candidates and families) will be on the Web at www.commencement.msu.edu
3/1/2006 MIDDLE OF SEMESTER: last day for withdrawal or dropping courses with no grade reported. $200 late enrollment fee assessed after this date. Final date to report completion of I-incomplete from Fall.
3/1/2006 Close of on-line drops for Spring -- 8 p.m.
3/1/2006 Third Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
3/6/2006-3/10/2006 Spring break -- no classes held.
3/10/2006 Approximate date that commencement invitations will be sent to Undergraduate degree candidates and information about participation (for degree candidates and families) will be on the Web at www.commencement.msu.edu
3/13/2006 Scheduled Enrollment begins for Summer 2006.
3/17/2006 Deficiency Lists for bachelor & professional degree candidates are due in the RO.
3/20/2006 Notification of Enrollment e-mailed to students regarding enrollment for Fall 2006 and Spring 2007.
3/20/2006-3/31/2006 Academic Progress Reports available on the web to instructors. APR information must be submitted by 3/31.
3/25/2006 Open Enrollment begins for Summer.
3/31/2006 Final date to initiate withdrawal from the University.
3/31/2006 Degree candidates notified of holds.
3/31/2006 Scheduled Enrollment begins for Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 classes.
4/28/2006 Fourth Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
4/28/2006 Classes end for Spring 2006.
4/29/2006 Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2006 and Spring 2007.
4/29/2006-5/9/2006 Online grading available to instructors for full Spring courses 10 am 4/29 through 4 pm 5/9. Grades not reported by 4 pm 5/9 can not be included in term end official University reporting. Other subterm grades due 4 p.m. 5 days after the class ends.
5/1/2006-5/5/2006 Final Exams for Spring 2006.
5/5/2006-5/7/2006 Commencements for Spring 2006.
5/12/2006 Recess/Dismiss lists from Spring are due from A/A Deans to the RO.
5/12/2006 Final Certifications for graduate degree candidates due in RO.
