3/17/2009 Notification of Enrollment e-mailed to students for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
4/3/2009 Enrollment begins for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
5/2/2009 Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
6/12/2009 Currently enrolled undergraduate, Agricultural Technology, and Vet Tech students who have not enrolled by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
6/13/2009-7/26/2009 Enrollment system is not available to returning undergraduate, Agricultural Technology, and Vet Tech students while AOP is in progress.
7/24/2009 Currently enrolled graduate and professional students, and teacher interns, who have not enrolled for Fall 2009 by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
7/25/2009 Initial tuition billing statements for Fall 2009 are available electronically on STUINFO (no paper bills are mailed).
8/13/2009 Initial minimum tuition & fee payment due for Fall 2009 -- $50 ($20 for amounts due of $0-$100) late fee is assessed after this date.
8/24/2009 First Fall Enrollment Certification run for transmission to the Clearinghouse.
8/29/2009 New Freshmen and Transfer students attending an AUGUST orientation can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m. (should confirm arrival plans with hall manager prior to arrival).
8/30/2009 New Freshmen and Transfer students who attended orientation in JUNE or JULY can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m.
8/31/2009 Returning students can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m.
8/31/2009 In-coming Freshman can change their schedule on 8/31/09.
9/1/2009 Recess/Dismiss lists from last semester due from A/A Deans to the RO.
9/2/2009 Late enrollment fee ($100) begins for first-time Fall enrollees and returning students.
9/2/2009 Classes begin for Fall semester 2009
9/2/2009 A MONDAY schedule is observed on Wed, 9/2.
9/3/2009 A THURSDAY schedule is observed on Thur, 9/3.
9/4/2009 A FRIDAY schedule is observed on Fri, 9/4.
9/4/2009 Degree candidates for Fall should apply for graduation by this date - www.reg.msu.edu
9/7/2009 Holiday -- University closed
9/9/2009 On-line open add period ends at 8 p.m.
9/9/2009 Last day to change to or from CR/NC or Visitor -- must be done in the Registrar`s Office by 5 p.m.
9/9/2009 Second Fall Enrollment Certification run for transmission to the Clearinghouse.
9/24/2009 Deficiency Lists & Final Certification forms for non-Degree Audit programs delivered to colleges.
9/28/2009 End of tuition refund period--no refund after this date. NOTE: Special Session refund dates can be found by clicking on the course section number in the web Schedule of Courses at www.reg.msu.edu.
9/28/2009-10/9/2009 Academic Progress Reports are available on the web for instructors, and APR information must be entered on the web by 10/9/09.
9/29/2009 Final Degree Listings distributed for previous semester.
9/30/2009 Third Fall Enrollment Certification run for transmission to the Clearinghouse.
10/9/2009 Approximate date that Commencement invitations will be sent to GRADUATE degree candidates & information about participation (for degree candidates & families) will be available on the web at www.commencement.msu.edu.
10/9/2009 Deadline for instructors to enter APR information on the web.
10/21/2009 NOTE: Special Session Middle of the Term dates are calculated separately. See web Schedule of Courses at www.reg.msu.edu.
10/21/2009 MIDDLE of Semester--last day for withdrawal or dropping courses with no grade reported, $200 late enrollment fee assessed after this date for first-time enrollees, close of on-line drops for Fall--8 p.m.
10/21/2009 Final date to report completion of I-incomplete from Spring or Summer 2009.

12/18/2009 Final Certifications for graduate degree candidates are due in the RO.
12/18/2009 Final Fall Enrollment Certification run for transmission to the Clearinghouse.
12/22/2009 All grades are due by 4 p.m. Grades not reported by 4 p.m. can not be included in end-of-semester official University reporting.
12/23/2009 ASUS Reports ready for pickup.
12/24/2009-12/25/2009 Holiday -- University closed
