3/31/2006 Scheduled Enrollment begins for Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 classes.
4/29/2006 Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2006 and Spring 2007.
6/9/2006 Currently enrolled Undergraduate, Agr. Tech., and Vet Tech students who have not enrolled for Fall 2006 by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
6/10/2006-7/23/2006 Enrollment system not available to returning undergrad, Ag. Tech. & Vet Tech students while AOP is in progress.
7/14/2006 Preliminary Graduate Assistantship lists for Fall 2006 are due in RO.
7/21/2006 Currently enrolled Graduate and Professional students, and teacher interns, who have not enrolled for Fall 2006 by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
7/29/2006 INITIAL BILLING STATEMENTS FOR FALL 2006 AVAILABLE ELECTRONICALLY TO STUDENTS.
8/14/2006 INITIAL MINIMUM TUITION AND FEE PAYMENT FOR FALL 2006 DUE ($50 late registration fee assessed after this date).
8/18/2006 First Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
8/21/2006 New Freshmen & Transfer students attending an AUGUST orientation can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m. (should confirm arrival plans with hall manager prior to arrival).
8/23/2006 New Freshmen & Transfer students who attended orientation in JUNE or JULY can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m.
8/23/2006-8/28/2006 New students who had ID pictures taken at AOP can pick up ID Cards in their residence hall if living on campus, or in the International Center if living off campus, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8/23, 24, 25, and 28.
8/23/2006-8/28/2006 New students who did NOT have an ID picture taken at AOP can do so in the International Center, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8/23, 24, 25, and 28.
8/24/2006 Returning students can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m.
8/25/2006 Recess/Dismiss lists from last semester due from A/A Deans to RO.
8/25/2006 Summer AOP students may begin to adjust Fall and Spring enrollment schedules.
8/28/2006 Late enrollment fee ($100) begins for first-time Fall enrollees.
8/28/2006 Classes begin for Fall 2006
9/1/2006 Degree candidates should apply for Fall graduation by this date at www.reg.msu.edu.
9/1/2006 Second Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
9/1/2006 On-line open add period for Fall 2006 ends at 8 p.m.
9/1/2006 Last day to change to or from CR/NC or Visitor--must be done in the RO by 5 p.m.
9/4/2006 Labor Day -- University closed.
9/21/2006 End of tuition refund period -- no refund after this date.
9/21/2006 Deficiency Lists & Final Certification forms for Fall delivered to colleges.
9/25/2006-10/6/2006 Academic Progress Reports available on the web to instructors. APR information must be entered by 10/6.
10/6/2006 Approximate date that Commencement invitations will be sent to GRADUATE degree candidates and information about participation (for degree candidates and families) will be available on the web at www.commencement.msu.edu.
10/17/2006 Close of on-line drops for Fall - 8 p.m.
10/17/2006 Third Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
10/17/2006 MIDDLE of Fall Semester 2006. Last day for withdrawal or dropping Fall courses with no grade reported. $200 late enrollment fee assessed after this date for first-time enrollees. Final date to report completion of I-Incomplete from Spring & Summer
10/18/2006 Final Degree Listings distributed for previous semester.
10/20/2006 Approximate date that Commencement invitations will be sent to UNDERGRAD degree candidates and information about participation (for degree candidates and families) will be available on the web at www.commencement.msu.edu.
11/3/2006 Deficiency Lists for bachelor & medical degree candidates for Fall are due in RO.
11/6/2006-11/17/2006 Academic Progress Reports available to instructors on the web. APR information must be entered by 11/17.
11/13/2006 Initial tuition billing statements available electronically on STUINFO (no paper bills mailed).
11/17/2006 Final date to initiate withdrawal from the University for Fall.
11/17/2006 Degree candidates for Fall notified of holds.
11/23/2006-11/24/2006 Thanksgiving holiday observed -- University closed.
12/8/2006 Classes end for Fall 2006.
12/8/2006 Fourth Enrollment Certification run for transmission to Clearinghouse.
12/8/2006-12/9/2006 Commencements
12/9/2006 On-line grading available to instructors by 10 a.m.
12/11/2006-12/15/2006 Final exams for Fall 2006
12/15/2006 Deadline for graduate degree candidates to turn in theses/dissertations to The Graduate School for Fall 2006.
12/19/2006 Grades not reported by this deadline can not be included in end-of-semester official University reporting.
12/20/2006 ASUS Reports ready for pickup.
12/25/2006-12/26/2006 Holiday observed -- University closed.
