4/2/2004 Scheduled Enrollment begins for Fall 2004 and Spring 2005.
5/1/2004 Open Enrollment begins for Fall 2004 and Spring 2005.
6/11/2004 Currently enrolled undergrad, Agric. Technology, and Vet Tech students who have not enrolled by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
6/12/2004-7/25/2004 Enrollment system is not available to returning undergraduate, Agric. Tech. and Vet. Tech. students while Academic Orientation Program is in progress
7/9/2004 Preliminary Graduate Assistantship lists for Fall are due in the Registrar`s Office.
7/23/2004 Currently enrolled Graduate and Professional students who have not enrolled for Fall by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
7/26/2004 Initial tuition billing statements for Fall available on STUINFO (Paper bills will no longer be mailed.)
8/12/2004 Initial minimum tuition & fee payment is due for Fall -- $50 ($20 for amounts due of $0-$100) late fee is assessed after this date.
8/23/2004 New Freshmen and Transfer students attending an AUGUST orientation can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m. (Should confirm arrival plans with hall manager prior to arrival.)
8/25/2004 New Freshmen and Transfer students who attended orientation in JUNE and JULY can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m.
8/25/2004-8/30/2004 New students who had ID pictures taken at AOP can pick up ID Cards in their residence hall if living on campus, or in the International Center if living off campus. Dates = 8/25, 26, 27, 30; from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
8/25/2004-8/30/2004 New students who did not have an ID picture taken at AOP can do so in the International Center 8/25, 26, 27, 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
8/26/2004 Returning students can move into residence halls beginning at 8 a.m.
8/27/2004 Recess/Dismiss lists from last semester are due from A/A Deans to the Registrar`s Office.
8/27/2004 Summer AOP students may begin to adjust Fall and Spring enrollment schedule.
8/30/2004 Late enrollment fee ($100) begins for first-time Fall enrollees.
8/30/2004 Classes begin for Fall 2004
9/3/2004 Degree candidates for Fall should apply for graduation by this date at www.reg.msu.edu
9/3/2004 Last day to change to or from CR/NC or Visitor for Fall courses -- must be done in the Registrar`s Office by 5 p.m.
9/3/2004 Open add period for Fall ends at 8 p.m.
9/23/2004 End of tuition refund period for full semester courses -- no refund after this date (1/4 of semester). Check with Registrar`s Office for sub-term deadlines.
9/23/2004 Deficiency Lists and Final Certification forms delivered
9/24/2004 Final Degree Listings distributed for Summer semester.
9/27/2004-10/8/2004 Academic Progress Reports available on the web to instructors. APR information must be entered by 10/8/04.
10/8/2004 Approximate date that Commencement information will be sent to Fall Graduate degree candidates.
10/19/2004 MIDDLE OF TERM: Last day for withdrawal or dropping courses with no grade reported. $200 late enrollment fee assessed after this date for first time Fall enrollees, final date to report completion of I-Incomplete from Spring or Summer.
10/19/2004 Last day to drop Fall courses using the Enrollment system -- 8 p.m.
10/22/2004 Approximate date that Commencement information will be sent to Fall undergraduate degree candidates.
11/5/2004 Deficiency Lists for bachelor and medical degree candidates for Fall are due in the Registrar`s Office.
11/8/2004-11/19/2004 Academic Progress Reports available on the web to instructors. APR information must be entered by 11/19/04.
11/11/2004 Preliminary Graduate Assistantship lists for Spring due in the Registrar`s Office.
11/12/2004 Currently enrolled students who have not enrolled for Spring by 8 p.m. are subject to a $50 late enrollment fee.
11/15/2004 Initial tuition billing statements for Spring available on STUINFO. (Paper bills will no longer be mailed.)
11/19/2004 Final date to initiate withdrawal from the University for Fall.
11/19/2004 Degree candidates for Fall are notified of holds.
12/10/2004 Initial minimum tuition and fee payment is due for Spring 2005--$50 ($20 for amounts due of $0 - $100) late fee is assessed after this date.
12/10/2004 Classes end for Fall 2004
12/10/2004-12/11/2004 Commencements for Fall 2004
12/11/2004-12/21/2004 Online grading available to instructors by 10 a.m., Dec. 11, through 4 p.m., Dec. 21. Grades not reported by 4 p.m. Dec. 21 can not be included in end of semester official University reporting. (See Grade Reporting Schedule in Instructor Systems.
12/13/2004-12/17/2004 Final Exams for Fall 2004
12/22/2004 ASUS Reports ready for pickup.
1/7/2005 Recess/Dismiss lists from Fall due from A/A Deans to the Registrar`s Office.
